Notice regarding SEPA Payments
From Friday afternoon, 15th March to Monday, 18th March 2024, the European SEPA Payment Schemes will undergo a mandatory update.
All Irish Banks and Credit Unions may experience delays in payment processing over this weekend. As a result, SEPA payments (Euro payments across Ireland and the EU) made on Friday 15th March may not
be credited to the beneficiary account until Monday 18th March and may not appear in customer accounts over the weekend as is the case normally.
The Irish Banking Community advises all customers to make payments on Thursday, 14th March, or early Friday morning, 15th March to ensure the beneficiary account is credited on Friday.
